I walked up there yesterday and you can take the right fork which is a lot easier now, no gate stopping you.
nice revieuw , but wath about oil consumption for the BMW ,???
wow also diese zitronen-analogie hat mir extrem geholfen!
Thanks mate. Great review. From Australia
I am a new follower of your channel Greetings from Sweden 😊
Hi Albatross, thank you and hope you enjoy the videos.
One of my regrets is not buying the Black XT660R when you bought yours. Would have saved me a whole heap of BMW related issues!
Yes, the V-Stroms are amazing allrounders and very reliable.
Wunderbaar grazie!
good afternoon, friend, I am building the same motorcycle, I have less food for you where the oil and gasoline are mixed, where there are 3 hoses with 2 bolts, what can you open there, are there no springs there?!! please answer
Sorry, I do not understand the question
Am not a mechanic
The front part is called the chin guard
Thank you
I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle now! It's not a BMW 1250GS! Hasta la Vistrom baby
I love my 01 Dakar 650!

I was thinking to get my first bike a Bmw Dakar, but You made me think again and go for a Japanese one. Can you recommend a few please. I use an equally comfortable seat for two people and lighter in weight if possible. Thanks a lot.
Well, I found the Yamaha XT660 R very useful, V-Stroms are also a good tool but not sure if too heavy for you. But I think one can generally say that Japanese are more attractive for first bike owners as they are cheaper to buy and maintain, if one takes them to a private garage/workshop
Thanks
Enough with the music ,for Gods sake! Watched it but nearly turned it off!! Some useful content though, thanks.
Yes, the music was too loud. An editing error
Probably nice and helpful video, but the sound after 1:40 is awful
It was in the early days of my video production when I was still experimenting. Hope you find the later videos better
Own a Dommie at the moment 2003 and only 12000 miles all very clean and all original components ,love this single cylinder thumper . Use it for green laning and every day use and keep my R 9T for the weekends .😁🇬🇧🏍👍
Keep it as long as you can
I put 20000+ miles on my 02 model and loved it. No problems whatsoever. I agree with you on the vibrations though. It was a bike which was ahead of its time in concept. I wish I still had it.
It is nice to have one as a fun motorcycle on the side
Is there a way to dampen some of the vibrations at the handlebars by using rubber mounts or anything like that?
Ottima moto io ho una 2004
Hi great material very nice ride ;)
Thank You
What kickstand did you go with? I just got an 02 640 Adventure and am having issues location a side mounted kick stand.
As far as I can remember it was one from SW-Motech
they where build until 2015 under hm with the aprilia engine
Thank You for the information
Long hair after 30 means you're a musician, a commie or a douchebag. That's only my opinion, based on a lifetime of experience. P.S. - or a German.
You are a Great Man!!!
Thank You Enis
Alexis I bought back in 1989 a 1988 NX 250 for $1450.00 used and rode it for 19 years as my daily rider , had over 100K on the odo.and did ride it from Canada to New York on many occasions. Never touched the carb or engine and I had the original front tire with the original air from the dealer.I truly enjoyed it and it did not vibrate at all. Now I ride a Beta 390 beta 200 and gs 1200 all for practicing. Thank you for this video.
Welcome, glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, the Dominator is a motorcycle with a lot of character. A legend of its own.

Not sure whether I heard you correctly @4.02, going back to Austria & needing to change the headlight(?) to ride on the other side of the road? (LOL)
Yes, I was misinformed at the time that I would have to buy a new headlight. I later found out that changes could be made so that oncoming traffic is not affected as the headlight illuminates the side of the road as well.
I am planning to buy a biike like this...I can afford newer bike like the Africa Twin but I want to start with something small. I am no pro rider, I have a Sportster 1200 as my first bike and I ride it like an old man. Is this bike good, reliable? some friends of mine said it's very bad
Try getting hold of the Yamaha XT 660R if you can, or go for a V-Strom with lower mileage. Reviews of both motorcycles are on this channel.

Thank You, will do
I just subscribed and looking forward to your reviews! At the moment I am in some kind of dilemma between XT 660 R and the V-storm 650, so this would be more than useful
If you are a taller rider and want an easier ride on motorways get a V-Strom

@@EnduroAlexis I am rather average height at 178 sm but I just bought a 2006 V-strom this week 🤗 I decided that I need the XT660R if I am planing more off-road in my trips, which won't be the case for the next year. Many thanks for the links, I will see them ASAP.
@@lyubengeorgiev1751 Welcome, you made a very wise choice with the VStrom
I have the same kmx on my page that got stolen unfortunately in November there’s only 6 of this colour kmx on the road in the uk I have the twin sister to my old one that got stolen in November cracking bikes!
Sorry to hear they were stolen. Yes, they are fantastic motorcycles especially because of the kick start option
that's good !!
Thank You
Great video gents.
Thank You
Die Musik 🎶 ist extrem nervig!
Danke für den Tipp. In anderen Videos ist die Hintergrundmusik mehr im Hintergrund.
I have a 05 GS 1200 and I love it. Easy to work on. I also have 05 F650GS not the Dakar. It is a pain to work on, I'm selling it.
I always bring my motorcycles to the mechanic as I am worried about causing damage. I do simple things, but leave other issues to the experts. Respect to those who can fix things themselves
@@EnduroAlexis To be clear I change all oils, adjust the valves etc but nothing else. I too don't want to screw it up so I leave it of people more skilled than I.
@@Titan500J You do more than I am doing :)
@@EnduroAlexis Thank but I go real slowly to make sure I don't screw it up. There's a video (DVD) made that takes you step by step on oil changes for engine, transmission and final drive. It also covers valve adjustment, alternator, carb balancing and break service. This is through JVB Productions. Happy Riding
Thanks for making these videos :D
